old Sterling Silver Napkin Ring
Napkin Rings have adorned dining tables for many years, and as part of a complete setting they make the table look elegant. They were invented by European bourgeoisie and still continue to be used now, over 200 years later.
This Silver Napkin Ring has been designed with a plain barrel and rolled edges. It has then been engine turned with a barley pattern using our machine which is over 100 years old in our workshop at the Silver factory and is fully hallmarked by a British Assay Office.
Traditionally Napkin Rings are sold singly with the name or initials of the owner engraved and given as Christening / Baptism gifts.
We find that customers also buy them in pairs as gifts for Weddings or Silver Wedding Anniversaries.
